today i exist in a world where people seem to care more for a stray dog than they do a whole ass human – schools are still focused on the wrong shit – where social media is an awesome marketing tool and way to stay connected but is so abused by the useless ‘voices’ of keyboard warriors and those who insist on displaying the lack of humanity and intellect that this culture breeds

today i exist in a world where everything is either or with no room for ‘and’ – where as an adult my peers cannot fathom that i don’t believe i have to pick a side – this world and the culture within it refuse to acknowledge middle ground and humans are expected to fall to one extreme or the other

the beauty that lies here is that there are exceptions and better still – we are able to change it – with desire, action and a little humility – it doesn’t have to be what it is
